Steven Thomas is an artist and musician living in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Floyd Jones EP is his first album as a solo artist, having previously recorded as guitarist for CCCCCCC (see SS-0107). These seven short compositions combine elements of classical and electronic music, and are inspired and dedicated to Steven's close friend, who lends his name for the title, with the song titles serving as references to various themes and experiences in his life. If you don't feel you need something you can hold in your hand (you cheap bastard), Steven is offering this album as a free download from his website, where you should also take a moment to enjoy some of his excellent art.
