11/02/04...Hey. Did you vote? I just watched the new version of Dawn Of The Dead. It wasn't the best movie I've ever seen, but it got me thinking about martial law, and anger, and things that may or may not happen if George W. Bush steals the election again. I'm kinda spooked. I just added a Corner Bar show in Kalamazoo for 2005, but I'm not sure if we're going to make it. I am grateful for everything I have experienced in my lifetime, and I hope I am granted many more exciting years, that my life is not cut short for insane reasons.

11/01/2004...Hey. The Skelletones show on Devil's Night was a lot of fun. Thanks to all our friends who showed up, and thanks to everyone who bought a CD or grabbed a sticker, we appreciate your support. Spit For Athena will be in Flint this weekend. Yes. Yes.

Remember to vote tomorrow if you haven't yet...but remember: it doesn't matter who wins (Kerry or Bush), because our system is still rotten. Follow your heart, soul, and mind when you cast your vote, but remember to carry that sense of patriotism (or whatever) with you through the whole year, through the rest of your lives. True change starts with US, because it obviously isn't going to start with THEM.

10/27/04...WEBSITE UPDATE: Kraftbrau Photos from 10-23 added. Enjoy.
Spit For Athena is playing Skelletones on Saturday with The Sequoia Outlaws. Clear Days Always also has a show at Skelletones, on Friday. You should come to both shows.

R
emember to vote on November 2nd, because things are pretty fucked up right now.

10/16/04...Hey. First: The ROKK Box show in Howell tonight has been CANCELLED. I don't really know why, but I thought I'd let you know, in case you were planning on coming. OKAY...CMJ was fun...I'll get some photos up soon. Too much driving, folks. Twenty-plus hours in a van with ANYONE is too damn long. Fun, though, and we're grateful to Eyeball for having us on the showcase, and Bethany and Becky for putting us up for a couple nights. I guess we'll see you all in Kalamazoo next weekend at Kraftbrau? 25 Suaves? Eh? C'mon, people...c'mon.

On Saturday, we're playing in Howell @ The ROKK Box with Bottle Fight The World, so you should come check that out if you can't make it to New York (ya lazy jerks! C'mon! 9/23/04
...Hey. We're gonna be in Coldwater on Saturday at the Tibbits Opera House. It's a battle of the bands kinda thingy, but we're mainly involved because it will be nice to play for our Coldwater friends again, and playing the Tibbits is a pretty big deal, too. It should be fun. There's information here if you require details. WEBSITE UPDATES: PRESS AND ART (movie) SECTION ADDITIONS, PUNK PLANET THERE IS NO ADAM WEST REVIEW ADDED,

If you notice anything wrong with this new website, don't hesitate to e-mail me about it. If you're interested in any of the MP3's or videos on this website, PLEASE just do the whole right-click, Save Target As thing and save them to your computer to preserve bandwidth - Thanks.

9/17/04...I've made the Lyrics section easier to use. Damn, I'm smooth. The new shirts are in, and they are sweet. Check out the amazing work Jeff did on them right here in our STORE. How many of you motherf**kers am I gonna see in Howell this Saturday? You? You? How 'bout YOU? I felt really good today...Lots of good vibes. It's like someone shoved sunshine up my a**hole.

9/15/04...UPDATES: I made the Rockmap section better (if any of you haven't checked out the Rockmap yet, you're missing out on a huge part of this website). I also added Clear Days Always photos and Spit "other" photos. I'm going to pick up the new t-shirts from Jeff tonight. They's gots a rhino on 'em. We're going to be in Howell this weekend at the ROKK BOX. You scared?

9/14/04...I'm in the process of changing all the .jpg's into .gif's (except photos) to make everything faster (I've been getting complaints from you dial-up folks). It's a pretty annoying process. We will have a neat-o new shirt design available soon featuring some JVB art. Last but not yeast, if you can get to Howell, come to our show Saturday.

9/10/04...UPDATES: Spit history section (press links added, flyers added to show history section), Words section (Scraps added, 4-way lyrics added), On-The-Clock Photos section (CBGB's photos added).

9/7/04...HEY...New York was a lot more fun than I thought it would be.  We got to talk to the Eyeball guys (and stay at one of their apartments), and the show at The Hobo House that Burn It Down/Rebuild put on was amazing.  Thanks to everyone who showed up to support us.  This Saturday, 9/11 @ Skelletones, we're playing with Tub Ring and Dog Fashion Disco .

9/1/04...HEY... Spit For Athena @ MySpace

Our name is up at the CBGB website , because we're playing there this Friday!  On Satuday we'll be in Huntington Station, New York, with our friends from Burn It Down/Rebuild .  Also, don't forget about 9/11 @ Skelletones...we'll be playing with Tub Ring and Dog Fashion Disco !  Yee-haw!

I'm working on a new Spit For Athena website, and it should be ready in a few weeks.  When I put it up, this Freewebs site is just going to offer you a link back to http://www.spitforathena.net , so you might as well set your browsers or favorites or whatever RIGHT NOW.  GO!

8/31/04...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SPIT FOR ATHENA!!!

HEY HEY HEY...We're three years old!  It's been fun, folks, but now it's time to make good on our suicide pact!  PEACE!!!

Just kidding...That's NEXT year, silly!

The Clear Days Always show last night with Strike The Colors and Another Terrorist Organization at The DAAC last night was a lot of fun.  If you missed it (and I know you did, because there were only, like, four people there), then you suck , and you missed out on a great time.  Douche.

8/26/04
...Our name is up at the CBGB website ...it's kinda cool to see it there, considering the venue's, um, rich history.

If any of you care, we didn't win the Ernie Ball Warped Tour contest thingy.  We didn't even make the top ten or anything.  Big fuckin' surprise, huh?

I'm working on a new Spit For Athena website, and it should be ready in a few weeks.  When I put it up, this Freewebs site is just going to offer you a link back to http://www.spitforathena.net , so you might as well set your browsers or favorites or whatever RIGHT NOW.  GO!

Big weekend coming up, folks!  Friday at Skelletones...Clear Days Always!  I'm gonna be playing a few new songs for you kids that have already heard me play the same songs over and over again.  Then, Saturday, Spit For Athena is going to be at the Rock The Vote Festival.  We're playing at about 9:30 PM, so you should get there at about 5:04 PM, so you'll have plenty of time to suck the root.  There's plenty of information at the link below, so don't bother me with your stupid questions, okay?

8/19/04...Clear Days Always has a new song posted at Purevolume called "Auwegia L", but someone as low-brow as yourself probably won't be able to comprehend such greatness.  Maybe you should go here instead.

As you might be able to figure out from the schedule below, Clear Days Always has a Skelletones show coming up, and anyone who gives a shit about politics and/or rock and roll should come out to Kalamazoo the next night, August 28, to the Rock The Vote shindig.  It should be sweet.  Give me back my cookies...

8/17/04...The Traverse City show last night kinda sucked, because some of the people that work at Union Street Station are complete idiots.  The bartender actually came up to the stage and scolded us for being too loud, and threatened to "shut us down".  Cool stuff.  Thanks to Steve at Vinyl D&D, and the Thirdeye Magazine folks for making sure the night didn't completely suck.  Steve even bought us Taco Bell!

Thanks to everyone who came by the Ernie Ball stage on Sunday to watch us at Warped Tour.  We saw a lot of friends that day, from Coldwater, Marshall, Quincy, Kalamazoo, and Grand Rapids.  It was good seeing all your faces...We love you.

As you might be able to figure out from the schedule below, Clear Days Always has a Skelletones show coming up, and anyone who gives a shit about politics and/or rock and roll should come out to Kalamazoo the next night, August 28, to the Rock The Vote shindig.  It should be sweet.  Watch the skies, bitches...

8/7/04    Spit For Athena is in Grand Rapids tonight at Morning Star 75 (10 Weston).  We're playing at 9PM...On Monday or Tuesday, Clear Days Always is re-recording the song "Dick Joke" at Broadside in Kalamazoo with Mark Larmee.  Rachel Goheen will be providing the vocals, so it should be amazing.  On Wednesday, I'm heading to Texas with Brandy for her cousin's wedding.  I'll be gone until Saturday...and the next Spit show is Sunday the 15th at Warped Tour, in Pontiac!  You gonna be there?

7/23/04 GROUTE GATE GENDER NOW HAS MP3'S AVAILABLE .  THEY SOUND LIKE CRAP.

SPIT FOR ATHENA IS HAVING PROBLEMS.

YOU COULD VOTE FOR SPIT FOR ATHENA, BUT WHAT'S THE POINT?

no...no...that's wrong.  there's still a point.  i'm sorry.  everything is fine.  all families and relationships go through this.  we just have to...be strong.  yes.  strength.  strength and unity.  we will...survive this.  this is only temporary.  the...music is what's important.  yes.  the music.  that's the ticket.

7/16/04...HEY.  The show last night was incredible... Rescue destroyed the place.  If you missed it, you're fucking lame.  Chad from Coin showed up, too, so between Rescue, Spit For Athena, and Chad, you, like, TRIPLE missed out!  Bitch!  Thanks to Kyle for setting up an amazing show...

We're gonna be at Idle Kids in Detroit tonight.  We're playing with Amanda Woodward (Level-Plane Records) and Letters In Binary.  It should be seriously tasty.

Oh, yeah...and if you don't come see Groute Gate Gender at the DAAC on Saturday, I'm pissing in your eyes.

7/11/04...HEY.  There's a new Clear Days Always song up at Purevolume.  It's a real whine-fest.  If you hate it, I'll just....I'll just DIE!!!

So, yeah, the show tonight in Whitehall (near Muskegon at the Whitehall Township Hall, 7644 Durham Road, Whitehall, MI) is going to be fucking amazing, because  Rescue  is going to be there.  They are heading out on a massive tour, and this will be one of the last times you'll get to see them in Michigan for awhile, so why fuck around?  Plus, as if Rescue and motherfucking Spit For Athena aren't enough to rock you into your grave, there's TWO MORE FRIGGIN' BANDS!  So, yeah, get your ass over to Whitehall by 7PM, or I'm coming to your house tomorrow and breaking off your arm.

Oh, yeah...and if you don't come to Idle Kids in Detroit on Friday, I'm breaking off your leg.

Oh, yeah...and if you don't come see Groute Gate Gender at the DAAC on Saturday, I'm pissing in your eyes.

7/11/04...HEY.  If you weren't at the DAAC last night watching us rock the fuck out, then you better have a darn good reason, like maybe you were busy winning the lottery or having your toes sucked or something, because you missed a darn good performance.  We were super-sweet.  For real...I don't like to toot my own horn, but, Jesus Christ:  Beep Beep .

Listen...the show this Thursday in Whitehall (near Muskegon at the Whitehall Township Hall, 7644 Durham Road, Whitehall, MI) is SERIOUSLY something you don't want to miss.  One of the bands that we'll be playing with, Rescue , are seriously one of the best bands in Michigan, PERIOD.  Ask anyone who's seen them.  Don't fuck around.  Come to this show, or I'll punch a pepperoni through your forehead.

7/9/04...HEY.  The Clear Days Always show last night was pretty darn sweet.  Dimitri played with this really cool band called Another Terrorist Organization.  They even bought one of his crappy CD's.  Read the update on his website .

Everyone should come see Spit this Saturday at the DAAC .  It's really gonna suck ass.  We're gonna paint a horse and have sex with paper.

Go to http://www.10eastern.com if you aren't afraid of new things...

7/8/04...HEY.   Clear Days Always is playing tonight at Skelletones .  Spit For Athena will be at the DAAC on Saturday.  My fingers smell like onions.  Today is CLEANING DAY.
If any of you have time, please GO HERE and vote for us if you haven't yet.  Help us win cool prizes.

6/29/04   Hey.  Rhino's has my guitar, so everything is okay as far as that's concerned.  Thanks for worrying, if you were worried.  The Intersection show last night was pretty horrible.  We played like crap and the roadies were really mean to us.  Here's to failure...

6/28/04   Hey.  The Skelletones show was fun the other night, thanks to anyone who came out.  I left my f**king guitar in Bloomington, Indiana the other night after playing Rhino's.  If anyone finds it, please use our contact information to get a hold of me.

6/25/04    VOTING BEGINS

ONLINE FOR THE ERNIE BALL BATTLE OF THE BANDS 8.  WE'RE PLAYING THE WARPED TOUR STOP IN DETROIT ON AUGUST 15TH AT THE PONTIAC SILVERDOME, AND YOU CAN GO TO THIS WEBSITE TO VOTE FOR US AND HELP US WIN SOME COOL PRIZES.   LIKE YOU GIVE A FLYING F**K.  JUST THOUGHT I'D LET YOU KNOW.     also, there's some new songs up at my Clear Days Always purevolume account.  won't you listen?

6/24/04   Hey.  We played in Plainwell last night.  We played last.  We were pretty tired by the time we got to play, and most of the crowd left.  That's okay, because we sucked pretty bad.  Yep.  Okay, then.  I guess you'll be wanting to come to Bloomington, Indiana tomorrow.  We're playing Rhino's.  Yep.  Alright.

6/19/2004    Welcome to the plain, boring version of Spit For Athena's official website.  I should have a nice, new website up sometime soon, and this Freewebs site will go away forever.  When the website is finished, it will be at http://www.spitforathena.net , so please make sure you have THAT page bookmarked, and not this one.  You can use the link from that page to get here, though.  Enjoy the bland nothing that is THIS...

Oh, if any of you remember the band Dropsy, then you should go here  and listen to our only existing, terrible recording.  Ah, memories...

6/1/04...Last night was the Mac's Bar Blowout in Lansing, MI.  We played with many bands, including Thunderbirds Are Now, and our good friends Sah.  It was a fun show, and we even sold a few CD's.  Tonight we're in Ypsilanti at The Elbow Room, to kick off our tiny tour .  We're very excited, as this is our first tour ever , individually, or as a band.  Yikes.  Get ready, Middle America.  Taste us.

5/31/04...
Hey.  The Kraftbrau show on Friday was amazing...we had to play at 1:30 in the morning, and a lot of our friends ended up leaving before then, because it was such a long night, but a LOT of people stuck around for us, and we totally appreciate that.  We had a great time, people danced, it was wonderful.  The show on Saturday in Battle Creek was cool, too, but we were pussies and asked to play second, and a few of our friends from Marshall showed up too late and missed us.  Sorry, guys.  Declan:  Throw a basement show and we'll be there.

Last night we played in Ann Arbor at The Blind Pig, and people went nuts.  I forgot my guitar in Battle Creek the other night and had to use Melanie's Daisy Rock guitar, but it was cool.  People went crazy during our set, and in the breakdown in "Like This", they were pogo-jumping or whatever to the beat...it was neat to see!  We had a great time.  Tonight we are in Lansing at the Mac's Bar Blowout.  If you want to read a nice article that Cale Sauter wrote about us to advertise tonight's show, go HERE .  Thanks Cale, it's a wonderful piece.

Our tour begins this week.  These news updates may slow down a bit...look for things to pick back up after June 12th...Love you all...

5/28/04... Hey.  Big show tonight at Kraftbrau.  The Moms, Cosmonaut (featuring Brent Oberlin of Thought Industry), First To The Fence, Kiss Me Quick, Comrade Kilkin (ex-Adelaide), Letters In Binary (ex-Don Knotts, enkephalin)...it's gonna be fucking sick.  If you aren't there, we'll talk shit about you.  Think about THAT while you're clipping your toenails and watching Frasier, you bastards!

5/26/04... Hey.  We're gonna be on the radio twice tomorrow, because we are so fucking cool.  We're gonna be on WIDR in Kalamazoo around 12:20 or so, and I might play a couple acoustic song-o's.  Then, around 9PM or something, we'll be on the Impact in Lansing, and I guess the whole band is gonna play a couple songs.  It's all to discuss our upcoming shows this weekend , which will rock mad, crazy ass.  Yeah.  Suck on THAT, buddy.  Mmm.

5/24/04 (Part Two)...Hey.  I posted another new/old Clear Days Always song, "All The Time" on Purevolume.  Check it.  Aw yeah.

5/24/04... Hey.  I posted a live version of "In The Future We Will Fuck In Spaceships" on Purevolume. It's off the live CD that you can get them with a purchase of Spit For Athena dolls.  Yeah.  Sell those.

5/23/04... Hey.  The DAAC show with Sleep Station and Days And Nights In The Skeleton Crew was lots of fun.  Sleep Station had some van troubles, which sucked, but I called them the next day, and I guess they're okay-ish now.  Days And Nights In The Skeleton Crew were just as amazing as they were last time I saw them, and they apparently loved us, too, so we've decided to do a split-CD sometime in the near future.

The Code Of The Cutz show the next day in Lansing was short but sweet, and it sounds amazing in that store.  (Thanks Jamie!)  After the Code show we headed off to Flint for a second show on Miller Road.  We played with, among others, our friend Jerry's new band, From Russia With Love, Burning Cities, and Remember Me.  It was cool, but our set was cut short because the neighbors called the cops.  Bleah.  So, yeah, we stopped making that darn racket, and all the kids went back to smoking crack and having unprotected sex.

Thursday we are going to be on the Kalamazoo radio station WIDR, to pimp our show Friday at Kraftbrau.  We also might be on the Impact in Lansing, but we don't have details yet.  Tour is right around the corner...I can smell it.

5/21/04... I posted more new Clear Days Always songs .  One is called "From The Carpet" and one is called "I Wish I Was Drugs".  They are old songs I found while transferring my tapes to the computer today, so I guess they aren't really new , but they're new to you , so why don't you just shut the fuck up, okay?  I also got the Groute Gate Gender section done.  I'm not totally happy with it yet, but you get the idea.  Get off my back, okay?

Spit For Athena is playing the DAAC tonight with Sleep Station, Rome For A Day, and Days And Nights In The Skeleton Crew.  You won't go, 'cuz you're a big pussy.  Don't feel bad...you can't really help it.  You was born that way, I reckon.

5/20/04... I posted a new Clear Days Always song at Purevolume .  It is called "Cursed".  I wrote and recorded it just today, so it probably sucks a fat nut.  Alright.  I added some new drawings to the "Art" section that I made yesterday, I made the "Noma" section better, I added a cheesy little Bios/Influences section (but I haven't linked all the stuff yet), and I'll probably try to work on those Groute Gate Gender and Dropsy sections for the website soon.  Whatever.

5/19/04... Hey.  I added new photos to the "Photos" section.  I almost added them to the "Contact" section just to mess with your mind, but I got bored with that idea pretty quick.

Don't forget to come to the DAAC on Friday.  Jeff Vandenberg of Friction Records says it's going to "whack balls".  Wow.

5/18/04... Sorry I haven't posted in a few days...I've been busy with spring cleaning...Wisconsin was fun, but the drive back was pretty insane...Justin Mather's party in Coldwater was cool, and I finally got him and Patrick their doll orders...We're going to be in Grand Rapids at the DAAC this Friday with, among other bands, a really cool group called Days And Nights In The Skeleton Crew, who have an amazing drummer.  Saturday we will be, first, in Lansing at Code of The Cutz at about 3PM, and then later in Flint at a house party.

The Dropsy and Groute Gate Gender additions to this website will take a little longer than I thought to get done...I don't really have much time right now.  Thanks to everyone who's visited the Clear Days Always link...I've noticed a lot more visitors lately.

See you later.  Have a good one.

5/14/04... Last night we played in Lansing at The Temple Club.  When we got there, I noticed that the "N" fell out of "ATHENA" on the sign out front.  Not a good omen.  Brandy fixed it.  Later, I almost stepped on a dead bird lying in my path on the way in.  Not a good omen.  Brandy yanked me out of the way.  As we played, the crowd seemed less than enthused by what we had to offer...I guess it just wasn't our night.  Thanks to Cale Sauter, anyways, for getting us the show...we appreciate it.  Sorry it wasn't better, or something...

I've added a new section, "Noma", to this website.  I'm going to add more in the next few days:  one for "Dropsy", and one for "Groute Gate Gender".  These are bands I used to be a part of that I still think about every day.  Being in these bands provided me with amazing experiences that I will never forget, and they all deserve a spot on this website.

Brandy and I are heading out to Oshkosh, Wisconsin tomorrow, where Clear Days Always will play the New Moon Cafe...Spit For Athena will be at Justin Mathers' house on Sunday around 5PM.  Speaking of Clear Days Always, there is a new remix of one of our songs by Stab Stab Die.  Have a nice weekend...

5/13/04... Check out http://www.decoymusic.com .  We are one of their featured artists of the month right now, and I guess there is going to be a review of Extermina up pretty soon.  Thanks to Adam Roncaglione for initially getting a hold of me and having me send him a CD to check out...

Tonight we are in Lansing at The Temple Club.  We've been curious about that place for awhile, so we're kind of excited.

I've added more art to the "Art" section.  Check it out, if you have a fast computer.  Otherwise, don't bother, I guess.  I try to make the files small on this website, but I know how slow some computers can be, especially with dial-up.  Yeah.

The scheduling of our tour is finally complete!  Thanks to Steve at Hood Booking for helping out!  Between me and him, we were able to get this bitch sealed up!  Here's the skinny, fool...

This tour will probably turn us into huge rock-stars, so you all better start kissing our asses now.  Hell yeah.

5/10/04... Spring Fever was fun.  Things ran really smoothly since the people running the show were smart enough to employ two separate stages and PA's...One band played while the other set up...a really intelligent way to make a festival-type show not suck.  Everyone was really nice, we sold some CD's and shirts, and did a little interview with a guy from a Flint newspaper.  Fun, fun, fun.  Thursday we're supposed to be at The Temple Club in Lansing, and on Saturday we're heading out to give Wisconsin a taste.  Love.

5/8/04... Last night in Ann Arbor we played two shows.  I forgot that we promised to play the Bad Idea house, and I agreed to play Crazy Niki's for the last The Sea The Sea show.  We didn't want to screw anyone over, so we played both.  The Bad Idea house show was amazing.  A few kids really seemed to enjoy us.  It was kinda crazy, but super-fun.  The show at Niki's was cool, but there were a few jerks there.  We were paid fairly, though, and it was cool to play the last The Sea The Sea show ever.  Thank you Niki and Bad Idea for hosting two cool shows and letting us play.  Sorry we couldn't hang out longer...Tonight we're in Fenton at Spring Fever.

5/7/04... UPDATES, UPDATES, AND MORE UPDATES....  So you might notice that the Navigation Menu to the left has changed a bit...the MP3 link actually goes straight to PureVolume now, and the Show Schedule link goes straight to our calendar.  I've added Press, Merchandise, and Levi's Artwork sections.  Check it all out if you have time.

We are playing tonight in Ann Arbor at Crazy Niki's (118 North Ingalls) with The Sea The Sea, Conqueror Worm, and One AM Radio.  It is The Sea The Sea's last show ever AND their record release party.  What a country!  Again, you should all attend, but you won't.  Too far, too late, don't like the bands, don't like basement parties.  WHO FILLED YOU WITH EXCUSES?

5/5/04... HOLY CRAP!!!  So, yeah...we've been picked to play the Ernie Ball stage at Warped Tour in Detroit at the Pontiac Silverdome on August 15th.  Lingua Franca and Silence The Wake won, too.  I'd say more, but I'm too busy picking my poo off the carpet...

Also...I've added some new photos.  There's one really old one from one of our first shows ever.  Check 'em out.  Puke.

5/4/04...   We're in the new issue of Recoil Magazine!  This is really exciting, because ever since we started playing shows, we've seen this magazine in almost all the Michigan venues we've been to...Lansing, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo...it's really cool.  Plus, this is by FAR one of the best articles that has ever been written about us...I'm totally happy.  If you click on "Message Board/Press" in the menu to the left, you can see the actual article (which features one of Marc Palm's wonderful photos of us!)...Thanks to Eric Mitts for a bang-up job on doin' us proud!  (sniffle...sniffle...)

We're gonna be in Ann Arbor on Friday at Crazy Niki's for The Sea The Sea's last show.  You should come, but you won't.

5/3/2004... Okay...we had an AMAZING few days...on Friday, we played in Marshall at the B.E. Henry Building and got to see our Marshall friends and fans for a moment before buzzing on to Flint to play ANOTHER show with our friends Lingua Franca (we just played with them Thursday in Holland, we play with them again next week in Fenton).  Flint was great, but we didn't get any photos of the performance.  Brandy snapped a couple of me driving on the way home.  On Saturday, we were late for our show at the Masonic Temple in Toledo, OH.  We played with Lickgoldensky, Coliseum, Varsity Swim Team, and Hot Cross.  I thought everyone would hate us, but the crowd was actually very kind during our performance, clapping a lot more than we are used to out-of-state.  All the bands were really great, but Lickgoldensky was the best, and their new CD is incredible...Varsity Swim Team, however, upstaged ALL the bands when the singer jump-kicked a hole in the wall...in his underwear!  It was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen.  On Sunday, we played in good ol' Coldwater, where I spat fake blood everywhere (Sorry again, Byron) and Matt bled for real when, once again, he smashed open his knuckle on the rim of his snare drum.  It was really great seeing all our Coldwater friends, who all wished me a Happy Birthday.  I would like to thank Patrick, Justin, Dawn, Tiffany, Kyndra, Tammy, Keith, and Marc for the wonderful presents you bought for me...Melanie decorated a lovely Pentagram cake for me, which has become a welcome tradition!  This wasn't a tour or anything, it was just five shows in four days (including Holland on Thursday), but it was a wild, fun time.  Brandy was very busy selling merch and handing out stickers...we're all very tired, grateful, and happy.  Thanks to everyone who shared the experience with us, bought a CD, whatever.  We love you all.

4/30/04   Java Joe's in Holland, MI was a really cool place to play, despite what we heard from someone on our message board...it sounded great, the owner was really nice to us, and we'd gladly play there again.

Tonight we are playing in Marshall, MI around 6 or 6:30PM, and then we are buzzing over to Flint, MI to play around 10 or so, with Bear Vs. Shark and Lingua Franca.  Flint is our favorite place to play in Michigan, because the kids are so VERY nice to us there...

We now have t-shirts for sale, as well as copies of Extermina and our Friction Records CD.

4/29/04 PART TWO
...Okay...no murder-suicide necessary...

4/29/04 PART ONE ...Tonight we're playing in Holland, MI at Java Joe's.  We've been warned on our message board not to play the venue, but we're brave souls, so here we go...I'll post tomorrow if I'm still in one piece.

The CD's are supposed to come today.  My mother and Matt and Melanie and Marc all have their copies, but not me.  If they don't come today, there will be a murder-suicide.  Sorry, everybody, but that's what has to happen.

4/25/04 ...Last night in Battle Creek at Ami Myles' was fun...How fun, you may ask?  Why, just check out this photo that Brandy took!  Don't I look like someone that Keith Richards might hang out with?

4/24/04 ...The show in Rockford last night?  Well...at least we got paid.  What a long...long...terrible fucking drive that was.  Jesus Christ.  In happier news, you should all come out to Ami Myles' party in Battle Creek tonight (69 Byron Street at about 6PM)....

4/23/04 .  Tonight we play in Rockford, IL at the PIT Skatepark with Hearsay Tao.  It's a four-and-a-half hour drive from Coldwater, so I'm sure I won't be seeing any of you kids there.  I had a little monkey and I took him to the country and I fed him on gingerbread.

4/22/04 .  So, yeah ...last night in Bowling Green, Ohio @ Howard's Club H. Um, there were a few nice kids.  We met a girl from Lumberjack Distribution, we got a couple really nice compliments...BUT...there were a LOT of assholes there.  I heard one idiot mutter "Dude, are there gonna be a bunch of longhairs in here?" on his way in, his backwards ball-cap gleaming bright white in the flourescent lights outside the club.  Great.  The awkward silences between all our songs were just WONDERFUL... by the end, we were just playing super-trashy and I was spitting all over myself.  We had fun.  Thanks to the kids that liked us...fuck the rest.  There was some cool-looking goth club down the street where there were a whole bunch of kids that looked like they'd actually be intelligent enough to like us.  We spent most of the night wishing we were there instead.

4/13/04.
Spit For Athena recorded three new tracks for the upcoming 4-way split CD on Friction Records.
Mark Larmee turned the knobs and hit the switches.  Things went well, the songs sound fab.  Drool, y'all.
