So, yeah...if any of you came to see me at Kraftbrau last night, you might have noticed that I wasn't there. Sorry I had to cancel...you also might have noticed the six-plus fucking inches of snow on the ground. Michigan Death. I practiced with Spit For Athena yesterday and had to drive home through that shit...there was no way in hell I was going back out. It would have been suicide. Trust me. I had two "minor accidents" on the way home. I had to have four guys help me and Brandy dislodge our van from a snow-covered curb that I slid into. Fun stuff. I'll make it up to you, Kalamazoo. I love you, and love is America spelled backwards.
11/24/04...Hey. The 519 Oak Street X-Core Benefit show was fun. I'll get some photos up soon. I broke a string on my acoustic and had to do the whole "Mr. Rock and Roll Guy With An Electric Guitar And No Band" schtick. It went okay. Brandy and I left before Perfect Panther and Frank Fuzz played, because the basement was too fucking smoky, but we did catch the dude from Kiss Me Quick doing some FM Radio Megahits. X-Core raised, like, $150, which is pretty-good for a basement show. It was a good night. I'll post some photos soon.

11/02/04...Hey. The Skelletones show was pretty-okay. One of the bands cancelled, so it was just me and Oven Fresh. Mirf (Skelletones Boss-man) decided to charge only $2.00 in lieu of the cancellation, which was good for my friends who showed up (Thanks Becky and Co.). The next Clear Days Always show is on November 12 at DAAC. It will not be my typical acoustic thing. People will probably get hurt. I'd like to apologize in advance for the damage to the DAAC. Friction Records will release a full-length Clear Days Always CD in 2005. It will contain the previously released "Ten Fingers: Five Yours, Five Mine" material, recorded by Brandon Labelle, as well as various home recordings. The Broadside material I've been recording with Mark Larmee will probably not be released until 2006. It's THAT fucking good.

If you DO, then you should tell me on the Spit For Athena message board ...I go there once in awhile. I'm still recording a lot of stuff at Broadside, getting the CD ready for Friction Records next year. It's gonna be good. I've been playing a lot of shows lately, well, a lot for ME. 7/8/04 Hey. VERY sorry for not posting in such a very long, long time. I've been...um... busy . So, yeah, tonight I played at Skelletones with The Culprits, and my new friends Another Terrorist Organization. It was fun, I broke a string, I sold a CD (thanks Derek & Rachel). Um, I have another show at the DAAC on July 24th. It won't be acoustic...I plan on doing my...um..."noise thing". See you there?
In other news, Jeff at Friction Records has confirmed that he WILL release a Clear Days Always CD sometime next year, and it WILL be a double-disc. So...yeah...exciting. Watch for updates...in about three months, knowing me...

I actually have a show coming up! Wow! A day that Spit For Athena hasn't stolen from me! (Just kidding, Levi. Don't pout.) Thursday, July 8th, I'm going to be at Skelletones in Grand Rapids. I'm probably going to have help from Brandon Labelle, Marc Palm, and maybe Brandy Beerens (ex-Coin). Be there or be square, motherfuckers.
